2. Overview

This website does not use analytics or tracking services and does not set cookies. Fonts, images and documents are loaded from our own web server. We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate the website and handle your enquiries.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you access the website, Netlify automatically processes technical access data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the referrer URL, and browser and operating system information. This is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

We have a data processing agreement with Netlify pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Netlify is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR). The retention period for log data is governed by Netlify’s policies.

4. Contact form

The contact form is processed through the form functionality of our hosting provider Netlify (see Section 3). When you submit the form, the data you enter — depending on the enquiry, in particular your name, email address, company or sport, and your message — is stored by Netlify and forwarded to us by email.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to your enquiry. The information in Section 3 applies to data processing on our behalf and transfers to the USA. We delete the entries in the Netlify account once the enquiry has been fully resolved; the email forwarded to us is subject to the retention period set out in Section 8.

5. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your information to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Storage of your language preference

When you select a language, we save this choice in your browser’s local storage so that the website appears in your language on your next visit. This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us. Storage is strictly necessary for the service you have requested (Section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time through your browser settings.

7. Links to social networks

Our website contains links to Instagram and TikTok. These are simple links, not embedded content. Data is only transmitted when you click a link and access the respective provider’s website. The respective provider is solely responsible for data processing on that website.

8. Retention periods

We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer necessary for the relevant purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. We generally delete enquiries no later than six months after they have been fully resolved, provided that no business relationship results from them.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20), and to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Article 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte (Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner), Postfach 11 01 32, 01330 Dresden, Germany.

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
